Pooky - 16cm Empire Shade - Indigo and Barbed Berry Bower Printed Cotton - Morris & Co
Registered in 1877, William Morris’s Bower pattern celebrates the beauty of nature with intricate foliage and delicate flowers that create an enchanting floral design. The pattern is among the designs associated with the home of Emery Walker, Morris’s close friend and collaborator, who lived nearby in Hammersmith overlooking the Thames. Inspired by the idea of a peaceful, shaded retreat beneath trees or climbing plants, Bower brings a sense of vitality and natural charm to interiors. Printed on cotton, this lampshade brings Morris’s timeless Arts and Crafts artistry into contemporary spaces.
