Our Ramvas table lamp in antique brass has a distinctive silhouette with an etched design and a soft, textured finish that comes from the cast metal process. The finished look combines an organic feel with the sumptuous appeal of antique brass. A striking addition to a sideboard or to bring diffused light to an alcove, the subtle golden metallic hue creates visual contrast when paired with a simple nkuku medium jute lampshade (sold separately).

How it's made
This piece is made using traditional sand cast aluminium. The process involves preparing a mould from sand and heating the aluminium until it liquifies. The molten aluminium is then poured into the mould and, on cooling, the cast aluminium piece is removed. Sand cast aluminium has low dimensional accuracy which results in a rough surface finish, with irregular organic patination often occurring. The piece is then treated with an antique brass finish.

Care Instructions
To care for this lamp, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the glass in a circular motion on a regular basis. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. We recommend removing the lampshade and ensuring unplugged when cleaning.
