Design story
We’ve added this stunning two-tier chandelier to our Kirindi lighting range. The unique design features have been carefully chosen to enhance the overall piece. The glass panels have been set within an iron frame that has been given an antique brass finish, with a matching brass bulb holder and hanging chain. This creates a simple yet elegantly versatile design, while the size of the panes and the over-layering effect creates real impact. This Kirindi glass panelled chandelier would look sensational as a pair in a living room, or above a dining table or in a hallway for a striking statement. A Kirindi pendant is also available.
How it's made
We use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being mouth blown for an irregular finish that gives each piece a unique tactile quality. We use natural, reclaimed and recycled materials throughout our collections as we believe in celebrating the beauty of the natural world, reusing resources and minimising waste wherever we can. The metal frame is handmade.
