Product Description
The well - proportioned design of our Alera side table blends sustainable mango wood and leather. The rich tones of the leather complement the calming natural grains of the wood and stylishly form a space for magazines and literature. The solid framework is crafted from iron.
How it's made
This leather item is handmade from goat leather, a by-product. The herds are farmed by local herdsmen. The leather is dyed using vegetable extract and tree bark, this means the leather colour will enrich further with time. Our mango wood pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make our wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
