The Bog Oak ceramic wall light presents a sculptural and textured form, where handcrafted ceramic and soft illumination combine to create a distinctive and characterful presence within interior spaces. Mounted on a simple backplate, the design features a circular ceramic disc with a hand-carved striped surface. Inspired by the ancient bog oak found in Ireland’s peatlands, the piece reflects its organic origins through its tactile texture and considered detailing. Finished in a refined matte white glaze, the ceramic surface balances natural irregularity with a clean, contemporary appearance. When illuminated, the carved texture interacts with the light, casting subtle shadows that enhance the depth and character of the piece. Measuring 28cm in diameter, the Bog Oak offers a compact yet expressive profile.
