Inspired by the flowing forms of microscopic diatoms, the David Trubridge Navicula Pendant Light - Small - Black 2 Sides is both a lighting fixture and a sculptural statement. Its skeletal structure is formed from strong, multi-layered bamboo plywood and finished in black on both sides, offering a dramatic, organic aesthetic.
An internal LED strip emits a soft, ambient glow upwards, perfect for creating atmosphere over a dining table, in a lounge, foyer, or reception space. Awarded Gold Best in 2016 and a Good Design award in 2017, this pendant also featured in Grand Designs NZ’s ‘Floating Beach Bach’ in 2020, underlining its design excellence and appeal.
