The David Trubridge Cloud Pendant Light – Small – White 2 Sides is a striking fusion of artistic vision and sustainable craftsmanship. Originally launched in 2008 for the Spiral Islands installation, the design draws inspiration from the ethereal clouds that hover over the Pacific Islands—used by Polynesian voyagers to locate land across vast oceans. Initially constructed from frosted plastic, the Cloud Pendant has been reimagined using eco-friendly bamboo plywood, delivering the same airy visual effect with a much lighter environmental impact. The “White 2 Sides” finish adds a soft, modern edge, creating a luminous, cloud-like presence that enhances both residential and commercial interiors.
Sculpted from overlapping bamboo strips, the pendant emits a warm, filtered glow that adds atmosphere and elegance to any space. With its large size and lightweight form, the Cloud Pendant appears to float effortlessly, making it ideal for open interiors or clustered arrangements.
